Burn Wound – Leg
Patient (Male – Age 59) suffered severe burn wounds to the right hand and leg (1, 2 & 3 degree) after his car caught fire. Patient is also suffering from type two diabetes. The patients big toe was amputated previously. The patient’s hand was in a Flamazine glove for 3 days to assure mobility.
Arrival
Severe burn wounds on proximal region.
Day 1
Sorusal is applied to dry the wound & absorb possible infection.
Day 7
Anterior region almost completely granulated & epihelialized. Leguis re-applied for 6 days.
Day 13
Wound inspected for infection. Legius re-applied. Good granulationn can be seen.
Day 21
Ankle and Dorsal region (2nd & 3rd degree burns) wound showed good granulation. Patient refused skin grafts & preferred to continue with Legius dressing.
Dressing change
Day 38
Wound in rapid healing phase. Islands of skin clearly visible.
Day 48
Wound almost completely granulated & eoithelialized.
Burn Wound – Hand
Arrival
Severe burns to the hand. Dead & necrotic tissue was removed and hand was cleaned. Hand placed in Flamizine glove for 3 Days.
Day 3
After 3 days in Flamizine glove, Sorusal was applied.
Day 7
Wound was almost completely healed. Small patches of open wounds visible. Legius re-applied.
Day 13
Wounds inspected for infecton. Legius re-applied. Good granulation can be seen.
Day 21
Wound healed after 3 weeks of treatment.
Day 48
Follow up photo.
Stove Burn
Patient (Female – Age 56) suffers from epilepsy. During an epileptic episode the patient fell with her hand on the stove causing severe burns to the hand. Upon arrival the hand was debrided to remove dead and necrotic tissue.
Arrival
Severe burns to the hand. Hand placed in Famizine glove for 3 days. Sorusal applied.
Day 5
Sorusal removed. Legius applied.
Day 8
Wound inspectation was done and legius re-applied.
Day 14
Good granulation and epithelialization. Continue with Legiuss dressing.
Day 22
Good granulation and epitheliazation. Continue with Legius dressing.
Day 35
Granuloma formed at 5th MCP joint. Caustic Pen applied for 4 consecutive days.
Day 50
Complete wound healing.
Hot Tea Burn
Patient (Female – age 16) spilled hot tea on her upper thigh which caused a first degree burn.
Arrival
1st Degree burn is clearly visible. Wound was dried and cleaned. Legius applied for 7 days.

Hot Soup Burn
Patient suffered 2nd degree burn wounds to the right hand when she spilled soup.

Patient presented with 2nd degree burn wound. Flamazine glove used for 1 day followed by Sorusal for 2 Days.

Hot Water Burn
Patient was burned with hot water.

Legius applied for 2 days.

Wound inspectation done and Legius was re-applied.

Ankle Burn
Patient (Male- age 48) suffered a burn to the right ankle when he stood against a hot piece of metal.

Patient presented with burn wound to the left heel.

Wound debrided and Sorusal applied.

After 1 day in Sorusal dressing and Legius applied for 3 days.
Day 4
Legius re-applied for 4 days.
Day 9
Good granulation, Legius was re-applied for another 4 days.
Day 13
Good granulation & epithelialization. Patient sent home to dress the wound himself with Legius.
